If there's one casino game that combines tension, elegance, and balanced odds all in one package, it's baccarat. Long celebrated as James Bond's game of choice in the classic films, baccarat has been a staple at prestigious casinos around the world for decades — and now, thanks to kiss981apk, you can enjoy that same experience directly from your smartphone or laptop, wherever you are in Malaysia.
Many people assume baccarat is a complicated game reserved for the wealthy. In reality, it's one of the easiest casino games to pick up. You simply choose whether Banker or Player will win, or whether the round will end in a tie. There are no complex strategy decisions like in blackjack — just place your bet, watch the cards be dealt, and wait for the outcome. This simplicity is exactly what makes baccarat so popular among Malaysian players of all experience levels.
How to Play Baccarat — The Basics You Need to Know
In baccarat, cards are dealt to two hands — Banker and Player. The goal is to predict which hand will have a total closest to 9. Card values work as follows: numbered cards (2–9) are worth their face value; face cards (Jack, Queen, King) and 10s are worth 0; Aces are worth 1. If the total exceeds 9, only the last digit counts — for example, 7 + 8 = 15, so the hand value is 5.
Each hand begins with two cards. If either hand scores 8 or 9 from the first two cards, it is called a "Natural" and the game ends there with no additional cards drawn. If there is no Natural, a fixed set of third-card rules determines whether the Player and/or Banker receives a third card. Players do not need to memorise these rules — the dealer handles everything automatically at kiss981apk.
Why Banker Is the Best Bet in Baccarat
This is one of the most important facts every baccarat player should know: the Banker bet carries the lowest house edge in the game — just 1.06%. Statistically, Banker wins more often than Player, which is precisely why casinos charge a 5% commission on Banker wins. Without that commission, the Banker bet would actually give players a long-term edge over the house.
At kiss981apk, you can choose between a Classic Baccarat table that charges a 5% commission on Banker wins, or a No Commission Baccarat table with zero commission. On the No Commission table, Banker pays a full 1:1 — however, certain Banker outcomes (typically when Banker wins with a total of 6) pay only 0.5:1. Overall, both formats carry a very similar house edge, so the choice really comes down to personal preference.
Speed Baccarat — For Players Who Want Fast-Paced Action
One of the most popular variants at kiss981apk is Speed Baccarat. True to its name, this is a faster-paced version of the game — each round completes in around 27 seconds, compared to 48–60 seconds on a standard baccarat table. All cards are dealt face-up simultaneously, with no squeeze drama or player card-reveal rituals. The result is more rounds in less time, which means more action and more chances to win.
Speed Baccarat is ideal for Malaysian players squeezing in a session during a lunch break or between daily activities — in just 30 minutes, you can get through more than 60 rounds. All the same markets are available, including Banker, Player, Tie, Banker Pair, and Player Pair. At kiss981apk, Speed Baccarat starts from as little as RM 10 per round, making it highly accessible.
Squeeze Baccarat — Dramatic and Thrilling
For players who crave a more dramatic and suspenseful baccarat experience, Squeeze Baccarat is the ultimate choice. In Squeeze Baccarat, the dealer slowly bends and reveals each card with a theatrical flair before fully exposing its value. This adds a layer of tension that makes every round genuinely thrilling — perfect for players who want that luxury land-based casino feel from the comfort of home.
Kiss981apk offers Squeeze Baccarat from multiple providers including Pragmatic Play Live and Evolution Gaming, each with its own dealer personality and presentation style. If you have never tried Squeeze Baccarat, it is an experience worth trying at least once — it genuinely changes the way you enjoy baccarat.
